Aaron,
   First thing I would do is check the idle position sensor for proper
operation. Easy to do. With engine off, have someone slowly press, then
release the gas pedal as you listen in the engine compartment. You
should be able to hear the sensor (actually a switch) click every time
it comes to rest.
The adjustment is not to difficult. Let me know.
