From a novice point of view(I couldn't resist)....See if you see the correlation. I raise ducks and chickens(not in my Vanagon-Vanagon Content), but if I am on my Duck forum I say 'Drake' for a male duck and on the Chicken forum, it would be Rooster. Since we are on A VW list, I would think that the same would apply. Although there are those who know alot about alot...it is always helpful to use the preferred terms when referring to a certain vehicle. BB(Before Bentley)-I was instructed to check the 'Final Drive'....? Ohhh, you mean the rear differential. My .02. Always learning.
