Does anyone have any experience with repairing door panel vinyl? There's lots of kits out there but I'm skeptical. I have a hole about the size of a nickel in a door panel that I'd like to repair. Its near the top of the panel so I can peel the vinyl back and get to the back of the hole if that makes it easier. I have extra vinyl to patch the hole with but how do I hide the repair's edges? Does that VLP stuff really work and "melt" the area around the repair well enough that it doesn't look like a half-arsed repair? Send it to a pro or give it a go? Jeff /San Anselmo |
