Yup! That's the way it works on the older carb'ed cars. . And if your
vehicle is not in the best of tuning, you can blast a big cloud of black
smoke out there as well. That used to REALLY get'em!! Been guilty many
times.
Course there can be a penalty - you can split your muffler!!!
