Subject: Re: Let there be LIGHT!!!

I installed 80/120W Hellas years ago in my 85 but never upgraded the wiring. Thus, they never were that impressive - kind of disappointing actually. Its amazing my headlight switch hung in there the whole time. I am ordering the relay kit now. I'm also eyeing a 4 light South African Grille kit, but they're kind of expensive. In lieu of the kit, I have the 80/100s in the grille and 2 small rectangular driving lights with 100Ws on the bumper. Can anyone comment on the performance of the 4 light grille? Do the inside lights throw a wide pattern that will help me see around sharp turns?

thanks, Walter 85 Vanagon 1.9
