Julie and I had a great time at the Bus Boo.  The return trip from Grand Rapids, MI to Cincinnati, OH was eventful.  We had steady rain until about central Indiana where we swapped the downpour for 40 mph winds with gusts up to 75!  The Syncro drive train, 15in Mercedes rims, and new Old Man EMU shocks did an admirable job of keeping me on the hwy, but I sure did get tossed about.  Glad I wasn't driving my air cooled Westy.  Even with new Billsteins and Hancook tires it would have been a pretty sketchy drive. Unfortunately, the city of Cincinnati didn't fair as well as my van.  I am one of 250,000 people in the city waiting for the power to come back on line.  I can't imagine what it must be like for the folks on the Texas coastline.   Looking forward to Bus Brrr.  Still a pretty hardcore campout even if it is delayed until March!
