Yeah...I wish I knew more about it this type of thing. Makes you wonder how you did ANYTHING before the Internet. I wouldn't be able to send stupid requests for help, I wouldn't be able to find parts, I couldn't work from home in my jammies. Since there are very few vans in my area, I absolutely TREASURE any opportunity to look stupid in person and attend any local events/campouts. Anyway, I hope there are otheres who are able to help with this project. BTW_ I can NEVER find anything on Vanagon Wiki. I guess I need to spend time messing around there. Thx, Michael.
