my exact thoughts were that if one in that color came along at the right
price, I'd probably get it.

how 'hopped up' is your  Syncro AW ?
proper Subaru engine I hope, or equivalent.

Actually I think that Tornado Red, if that's what it is, was a very bold
marketing move by VW ......
and brought great spice to the Vanagon series.

Red for a car color is not my favorite, but I do think those bright red
Carat's look pretty sharp all right.
