note to broken alt belt replacement procedure
my last belt failure sent pieces into the timing belt cover
there one lodged between belt and gear-
lost timing on an already tired engine -
lost engine -
soooo- before you say there all done as you brush dust off your hands
check under the cover for bits of shrapnel form the exploded alt belt
