I agree Maggie. Apparently volks like Scott and Neil2 don't get it or have a sense of humor alien to others or no sense of humor at all. When Rex Eastman developed this sticker over 18 years ago, the reaction up until apparently now was laughter, giggles and "I wish I had that on my VW (or other car)". Never a single word or comment about it being mean spirited, impolite, rude, garish, crude, lewd, obnoxious or anything about "tit for tat". When I was selling them online or at the VW shows in the 90s it was my second most popular sold sticker. There were people at the Arizona Bus Club Jerome Jamboree Show in Jerome, AZ this past weekend wanting to buy one, but I don't have any more.

I'm not saying they're wrong and I'll defend that person's right to an opinion just as vigorously as my own, regardless of what I may or may not agree on.

Gee volks....sorry I stirred up such a "tempest in a teapot".

Guess times and people change (or they've gotten a "thinner" skin) (sigh). -- Jim Thompson 84 GL 1.9 "Gloria" 84 Westfalia 2.1 "Ole Putt" 72 411 Station Wagon "Pug" oldvolkshome@gmail.com http://www.oldvolkshome.com jim@airheadparts.com *********************************** On Fri, Sep 19, 2008 at 12:53 PM, Maggie Dew <wildebus@gmail.com> wrote:
