I've been in Bend for 31 winters.


One year it was so cold for so long that some of the city water mains froze
under the streets.


Sometimes in May you can't rent a U-Haul truck, as they are all gone -
rented by those getting the hell out of here.


Mr. Squirrel is prudent to be prepared.
