My nickle, so take it for what it's worth ;)

Anything you can set up that attaches to the van, is the winner. The reason for that in my area of camping preference, is that some of the most incredibly beautiful, convenient and just plain great spots, are smack dab on large sandstone slabs. Nothing that needs to be secured to the ground via lines and stakes will withstand even moderate breezes if they can't be staked on sandstone (don't trust tying the lines to large rocks .... ask me how I know) ... and at the worst possible moments! LOL

... besides, I dearly love being "out there" all alone ... who needs privacy? But I wouldn't want to be in the presence of someone experiencing projective-vomitus after unexpectedly seeing my buff self during a high breeze condition. What a morbid thot! ;) Isn't indecent disclosure a 2nd degree felony?
