So, this auxillary air valve didn't seem to be doing much... I tried pinching the hose with the engine running cold and it didn't get any definitive reactions.

I have the little bugger out now, and am looking down through the middle. I see the little spring loaded valve mechanism.

My question is: how open is it supposed to be? It's a little bit open right now, but if I stick a little toothpick in there, I can swing it so that it's much more open. When at room temperature, how much of an obstruction should it be giving to the hole... right now I'd say its an 80-90% obstruction. I can swing it so that it's more like a 50% obstruction, but then the spring pushes it back to where it was before.

Any suggestions? It doesn't look like it can be adjusted.

Thanks again! Wes
