John, they're common as dirt -- $25+ at the FLAPS to as much as you want to pay for a marine one with gimbaled sensor. I just bought one for $6, closeout at BJ's Wholesale Club. The recent ones are self-compensating, just throw them in calibration mode and do a slow circle while they map the deviation curve (it's a sine wave, one cycle, so they can do that).
