What about those morons who drive down the road with the map spread out across the steering wheel? Maps don't crash, idiots looking at maps crash...

As for gizmos... I usually use the FedEx gizmo. The UPS gizmo sucks at paying off insurance claims.

Government conspiracy eh? Now... where did I put my tin foil hat?

Feels a lot like Friday...

Cheers,

Jeff

And maps can't crash or get you pushing and fiddling with little buttons and dealing with memory and all that. GPS is a long range government conspiracy to make the citizenry dumber and dependant on gizmo's like UPS to know where they are. Then when they're ready ..........and everyone is thoroughly addicted and trained to use GPS constantly, they'll shut it off, or introduce incorrect information..........all about controlling the dumb masses.

For use on a trackless open space like the ocean ..........makes great sense there. but for land, where ..........at least I know where I am all the time, and I can find anything on a map, and online there are maps of just everywhere, in detail - it's a conspiracy I say- GPS.
