really ? ........... I almost don't even use brakes, and I drive fast too. I just stay far away from everything, and everyone, and ease off well in advance of needing to slow down or stop, and I go pretty easily on serious descents. My brakes almost don't wear, at all.

oh btw........here's a turbovans brake tip for you : Avoid excessive very light braking. Doing that contributes to disc brake squeal. Use the brakes intentionally a little hard now and then ............say to 75 % stopping power where it's safe, now and then. They need to be 'exercised' some, and used intelligently of course........ not that 80 % of drivers on the road these days know beans about actual 'd r i v i n g.'

just wait until winter, there'll be SUV's spinning off the road left and right, as usual. And it's not because the cars themselves lack capability. all fun ! scott
