I agree, it must have been a bad batch or possibly mis-marked at Cohline. I have Cohline on my Westy I installed last year. At Airhead/VWG they've been carrying Cohline since 2006, but since Cohline's warehouse back east has been out for most of the year, Airhead/VWG has Conti Hose on the shelf right now. With Cohline being out for so long, this may be the reason (bad batch/mis-marked), but Airhead/VWG hasn't any reports of this from the customers

Cohline only comes from Germany as far as I know.
