Subject: Re: John Brown's Buses for '08?
Comments: To: Stephen Grisanti <bike2vcu@YAHOO.COM>

Stephen (and anyone else interested), The short answer is "yes", the long answer is it is no longer called John Browns Buses. Since the event was moved from Harper's Ferry W. VA. to Brunswick MD. and coincides with Brunswicks "Railroad Days" event the name was changed to Buses By The Trax http://mysite.verizon.net/vze292s2/busesbythetrax/. Jamie Auch was the founder of John Brown's, but he moved to N. Carolina a few years back, and myself and Sharon Simpson decided to co-host the event to keep it alive. That lasted about a year and Sharon decided to edge me out, pretty much taking over the event herself, which is fine, but she does not like to promote it as she does not want it to get "too large", almost to the point of making it a private event for those who know about it. Sharon does not read the Vanagon list, or even the type2 list, and I think the only place she posts info about it is on Full Moon Bus Club's site. Last year I put together a web page with info on the event, and Sharon immediately emailed me and told me to take it down, as she had already put together the site at the link above (but hadn't told me about it). Anyway, I'll be there Friday night, if you (or anyone else) needs more info let me know. Jeff
