From: Tom Buese <tombuese@COMCAST.NET> ...... we all took refuge in it during the wind, & managed to fit 5 adults, 4 kids, & 3 dogs including my Great Pyrenees, Carl, comfortably in the Westy? Cocktails were handy,.............. Anyone fit more volks/pets in their vanagon at 1 time than us? ------------------------------------------------- Nope...... 8-) OMG Mr. BZ, that's allot of "humus", inside your Vanagon at one time. Sounds-like more fun than mess'en around IN a barrel full of monkeys. I will though, brag of providing an elegantly warm sit-down dinner for 5 adults in my trusty Westie. Mid-January (read freezing cold) parked overlooking the Carrizo Plain, Painted-Rock's U-shaped amphitheater-like outcrop and the ever-present San Andreas Fault/Soda Dry Lake. Totally stunning geography! The dinner and wine were equally fine. BTW, this was one memorable 5 Bus/Vanagon caravan to the Lake Havasu Busses by the Bridge event in 2005. regards Phil Z ‘87 Westie Campbell River, BC |
