Well, Saturday I went to my friends to help the continued work on resurrecting the '85GL that used to be mine. You may have read before that this is a Roadhause Pay it Forward project. Well, things were going great we got the fuel system back together a couple of weeks ago and Saturday got the coolant system all put back together. Started it up and things were looking good. Sounded great, no apparent leaks, idled smoothly, heat worked, etc. - then it happened: Coolant started POURING from the Radiator. Seems it has a rather large hole in it. It didn't make itself known until things really got up to temp - the bus ran for about 15-20 min before it started. So we were looking and the Bently is pretty vague on removing the radiator - anyone care to share their tips and advice on doing this? -- Thanks, Jeff '90 Carat (Grover) '86 (We call this one Parts) '78 Bus (Melissa) Patty's Bus |
