My bro in Charlotte (NC) reported Sunday that there were big shortages there.

Here in the Jacksonville-St. Augustine area we seem to have a good supply except for spot outages of premium.....in fact a couple of stations were down to 3.69/gal. for regular....average about 3.79....

A couple of days ago Atlanta was having spot shortages of fuel. Those spots began to spread aout and now it appears to be becoming widespread. Yesterday I began to notice stations here short on some fuels and today in my area - Chelsea - 10 miles south of Birmingham, four of the fivc stations here are out of fuel. Exxon, Chevron, Shell, and one of two BP stations. And the one BP with gas had only regular unleaded. Price was $3.87.9/gal.

I wonder how bad this is going to get?? On top of everything else in the economy.
