Hi Karl, Importing into Canada from the US is not difficult, but there is a 3-business-day requirement to pre-register the title and bill of sale with the Customs office BEFORE you import the vehicle. I imported my vanagon into Canada back in April. With the seller's co-operation I faxed my paperwork to the CBP office a few days before the crossing and there were no problems. The paperwork required took me an hour, including both US export and Canadian tax & duty payment. No-one at either border point even looked at the van, although that is not always the case. After that I was on my way. Jake's post explains it pretty well.
