Ahh - one of my favorite topics :) I think I've seen every camp on this one: 1. People who name their bus and actually call it by it's name 2. People who name their bus but never call it by it's name 3. Wishy Washy people who bounce back and forth between using the name and not using the name 4. Those who refuse to name their bus 5. Those who really just don't ever think about it. I personally am a number 3 who would prefer to be a number 1. I think naming a bus is fun - very silly - but fun. It gives it a moniker to go along with it's "personality" - much like your POS example above. Naming a bus can also help if you own more than one. While my '90 carat, Grover, is sometimes just the bus - Patty's '78 bay, Melissa, is almost always called Melissa. People name boats - why not name your bus? I know I've thought way too much about this topic - but it's fun for me. Some think it's pointless and silly - some think it's dorky. Their probably right - but it's still fun. -- Thanks, Jeff '90 Carat (Grover) '86 (We call this one Parts) '78 Bus (Melissa) Patty's Bus |
