Hi all. I made "DV" type exhaust brackets for my Jetta 15 degree install. In this image: http://tubaneil.googlepages.com/courier.jpg hanger on LH side is attached vertically to engine block bracket portion. The studs face toward the muffler. (more or less as per what I saw in ETKA and Bentley) Would this hanger provide more stability if rotated 90 degrees? i.e. mounted the same as hanger on the RH side of image? Another pic of same: http://tubaneil.googlepages.com/DVexhaust3.jpg/DVexhaust3-full;init:.jpg Not trying to reinvent the wheel, but based upon some pics I got of Tobins DV (Thanks Tobin!) since I am not using the DV engine mount bracket, I wasn't too clear on the exact details on how this hanger mounts. Just curious since it feels like there might be too much wobble that would pull the hanger apart. In this image of the passenger side bracket, this end of the exhaust feels more sturdy: http://tubaneil.googlepages.com/DVexhaust4.jpg/DVexhaust4-full;init:.jpg Might as well get it set up as best I can before the final welds. Thanks for any input! Cheers, Neil.
