My FLAPS (Autozone) keeps a record of me in their national system. My receipts with them aren't even necessary. The new computer age will fix those old paperwork problems. BTW, not all lifetime warranteed parts are poorly-rebuilt junk. But, I do believe that they're banking on the fact that most folks don't keep their vehicle for more than a few years. Except us wacky Vanagon folks, of course.
