        Malcolm, that bolt may or  may not have a groove cut in the threads
to allow easy bleeding.  I always  remove the bolt and check, if no groove I
cut one with a cut off wheel in my air  die grinder.  Groove does not need to go
all the way up to the head of the  bolt.  Make sure the copper washer is
there and in good condition.
