Not only have I named my bus but for Christmas Patty got me some nice looking chrome badging letters that spell out his name. So on the driver's side of my hatch (across from the Vanagon Badge) my bus has his name Grover proudly displayed.

Again I know it's kinda goofy but again I think it's a fun thing.

Also, for whoever explained the boat thing (Jim I think) - I understand the need for that and how it works - my question was more rhetorical and meant in fun. Thanks for the explanation though.

Sure some people think it's absurd and just "stupid" - I can appreciate that. For me it's part of the fun of owning a bus.

-- Thanks,

Jeff '90 Carat (Grover - named after the lovable Muppet) '86 (We call this one Parts - who couldn't serve long enough to be named) '78 Bus (Melissa - named after a mild mannered very sweet former corrections officer who is a co-worker) Patty's Bus
