For sure. I should know better.

I "saved" a 1.9 WBX that was "seized" according to the PO. (actually hydro locked. Crankcase FULL of oil/gas)

It had a faulty FPR diaphragm and a burned/melted FI. (likely due to the excess fuel "lighting up" in an intake runner)

This 1.9 also had a totally hinky alt bracket. (one hole ovaled with a bolt jambed in. The other was sheered off. My temp fix:

I guess I was "saying" they don't flood like a carb engine as I assumed the OP *may* not know a lot about engines. I didn't express this though.
