Karl,

I apologize. I was unaware of westfalia not being part of mercedes any more. I still dont see however why westfalia should pick a little routan to convert, especially since the routan is only available in the u.s. market? I know there are not that many other vans available, and the branding combination of vw and westfalia might prove successful. I still think a SWB sprinter would be a better candidate, with poptop and low roof that thing is not so big. I see they have a new website where we can check out the models: http://www.westfalia-van.de/de/startseite/modelle.html None of them VW at the moment, probably due to that they were owned by mercedes until recently. How do they want to enter the U.S. market? Seems they would need a manufacturing facility in the U.S. That would be big news. I am sure they dont want to relive the dodge sprinter airstream fiasco, although I for one love the vehicle and wish I could get one.

Florian
