Do I hear sarcasm? I think its a valid point to question the idea of using a too small vehicle just for the sake of it being a vw.

precisely not, as I specifically adressed that one. It was a MWB with a hightroof and bath etc. I am talking about a short sprinter with a vanagon camper like interior, just a little bigger. more like this, but of decent quality: http://www.rvwheellife.com/?p=177
