generally speaking, re-indexing a turbo, and getting an oil return line that flows mostly downward to the block or pan.......... is not that hard to do. Just one more basic step to a ...............what will be a fairly complex conversion,.............but by itself....... just one more step and not that big a deal. Unless they use a whole other turbo set up. There are turbo's incorporated into the exhaust manifold on some late vw/audi engines.........don't see how you could re-index one of those....... but for any bolt-on turbo ...........seems to me that they would likely have 'normal' re-indexable turbo housings. This might be one of the easier issues to handle on such a conversion even. ----- Original Message ----- From: "neil N" <musomuso@GMAIL.COM> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Wednesday, October 08, 2008 6:40 PM Subject: Re: Audi Turbo motor swap
