dear dip stick pushing out
why not use some zip ties to hold in the dip stick
go for a rip --
see what else gives --
if nothing else fails --
then simply an errant dipstick --
sooo-- with nothing else failed --
reinsert dipstick--
jack up van and block front wheels
run van on jack stands with the engine cover off --
video or actually watch your self while some one else runs van
see what actions make the dip stick come out ..
2 gear at full revs --
you may want to pile old tires between your van and a nearby wall so if you
do slip off
--you will not crash too badly --
but best to prevent slipping off with excellent front wheel blocks
and suburb solid jack stands
yours

There are two kinds of jobs in the world:
Picking up garbage and telling people things.
Successful people do both, with the same good attitude. (riw)
