<this makes the 2nd relatively minor accident on an air bag equipped car or truck that I've heard of this week where the air bags where 'the main problem' almost. Same thing for my friend...........minor accident that barely hurt the car,>
You're right. The Dodge Dakota was not that badly damaged. As I understand it, the air bag replacement cost was $2,500.00 for the drivers side and a whopping $5,000.00 for the passenger side-on an 8 year old pick up, no wonder it was totaled. To bad it wasn't a Subie w/a 2.5-Vanagon conversion material!!! Jeff |
