I fixed mine on an 84 with regular epoxy. Mix up some with some type of thickening agent...sawdust, talc, heck..even dirt...and stick the pieces together or put a dab on where the screws are supposed to grab hold. Put something on the screws to act as a release agent, something like vasoline or paste wax...push the map pocket into place and wedge it there till the epoxy dries. Good to go. I use West System Epoxy for plenty of repairs around my van and for weatherproof finishing and adhesive. Good stuff, available online or at boat supply stores. Don Hanson |
