I swapped a igniter one time, van would not run for anything. that one white wire going to the ignitor had been pushed back out of the plug ........that's the wire that singals the ECU that the engine is turning over. I believe it had ignition just fine, but since the ECU couldn't tell the distributor and engine were turning, it wouldn't run. ---------------------------------------------------------- OOH, OK, now I have something to look for. that's where I am going now! im going to do a continuity test on all the ignition controll wires, then check connections

But is there a specific wire to test for signal to the ecu? That would be the white wire eh? that goes to pin#1 @ECU

Do I do a voltage test??
