I think that Mark is assuming that you have already done the main Bentley procedure so that the system is pretty well filled and you have replaced the pressure cap. When things get warm, the system will pressurize enough to push the remaining air out at the bleeder bolt when you crack it open, assuming you have a good pressure cap.
