Volks there are no more STEBRO mufflers for the Vanagons. The Stainless Steel mufflers I sell now are being made by LEV-FAB in Quebec. See my _Vanagon Stainless Steel Exhaust Systems_ (http://members.aol.com/Fkc43/exhaust.htm) for up to date information. AND, before you get all worked up about that cracked exhaust pipe. It is not from STEBRO, they never did make the pipes. The ones Chris has that is broken was either from DANSK or CINTUBE, I'd have to dig back in my records to see which ones went to Malcolm, the original purchaser. AND, the ONLY way that pipe is gonna be welded back on the flange is to remove it from the engine. The crack should be clean and easy to line back up in it's proper location. Any GOOD welder will know what to do. AND, yes, there seems to be the need for a support as the OEM pipe had. We are working on that.
>>>>>>>>Yes it is a Stebro. It's a great sounding muffler and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for longevity and quality.<<<<<<<<<
