Subject: FS: 1991 Westfalia $7500
I'm helping my computer illiterate friend sell his Westie. I own one too
so I'm very familiar with this vehicle. This is a 91 Westfalia. It has
204,000 miles on it and the 2.1L waterboxer still runs well but a little
cold-blooded at first. The automatic transmission has no issues. He
recently replaced some exhaust pipes. The camping equipment inside
probably hasn't been used in a while so I'm guessing that it will probably
need a good cleaning.( the frig was never very good in the Westie). The
interior is in pretty good shape but needs a steam cleaning. The pop-top
could use a new canvas but the bed is in good shape. The body is in pretty
decent shape. There is a little seam rust in spots.( Not nearly as bad as
my van).He has also installed a new gas tank. The van hasn't had any major
accidents but there is an abrasion along the bottom of the driver's side
panel. This van is a great candidate for some easy cleaning and upgrades
which will vastly increase the value of these highly sought after
vehicles.
Any direct questions can be directed to the seller:
Jay Gonalaz 443-373-8630
Please call later in the day. He's a cab driver and sleeps til 3pm.
Any other questions I can try to answer through email replies to this ad
