Dick O'Kane was a great writer and one of the reasons R & T was great. Stan Mott, who was a brilliant artist AND a terrific storyteller (remember the Cyclops?) and Henry Manney III were the other two reasons to read the magazine. . Manney's stint as European Formula 1 correspondent was some of the most vivid writing ever published on motor racing.
