...or, sometimes it helps to see things in a different light. After I lost the bolt earlier today (just a routine coolant drain, flush, etc., says he), I looked through my ample stock of parts to no avail. Tonight I looked through another can where there were some leftover bolts for a AT final drive sump cover. Looked like what I needed but a little long. Got a flashlight and went out and tried it and perfect fit. So, as long as I had the flashlight, thought I would look around in the gravel off of the concrete, one, one more time, and there was the original bolt right in front of my feet. Well, it was sort of grayish from the coolant deposits, so it blended in with the gravel. And it doesn't have a groove down the side. All this time I assumed it did! Oh well, it were lost and now it are found, amazing grace. thanks all, Jerry |
