OK, thanks all. Is there a good reason to use another original VW mirror? This is a Westy and I always think the mirror's mounted a bit too high, and you can't see far behind because of the above-bed closet. If I stick the replacement mirror on the windshield, then it can be mounted a little lower so we get a better rear view.
