FWIW, PIAA claims the equivalent of 110 watts of lighting output while
using only 60 watts with their #13903 "XTRA" bulb . They state "55/60W =
100/110W"
I've used these in my van with the stock wiring configuration & fuses for
years without a problem. To be honest, they weren't that impressive until
I installed a relay upgrade kit. Now they're awesome. I was also
considering going to 100W bulbs but now I'm holding off.
