Hey Neil, at least with the AW Top Molds we know the location ! Which is within a practical range for us. They're about a 4 and a half hour drive from me even. but ...........who knows what's going on with the seller of them.......must not be too important to him if he's not answering quires............or maybe he's out of the contry or , hope not, in the hospital or something.

re Jim's one of Thompson's Laws. .............. how a good deal is usually far away ......... well how INTERESTING that refers to LOCATION.............location is a LOT isn't it !! :-) And, I'm happy to say I've found some great vanagons deals not that far away from where I am .......... last pretty hot deal...........a rare 1983 5 speed Sunroof Diesel Vanagon .........( FS when I get it going.........no rust, only minor dents too ) that I got from a guy with Thompson for a last name...........about 3 and a half hours away, not a bad tow at all. I sure couldn't have gotten it if it was in Baltimore.

Pretty soon it'll all be cell phones. I'm glad there is a trend away from driving with one hand while holding one to your ear. The real danger is the distraction of course..........the having a covnersation while driving, not the actual holding of the phone. And oddly...............in states where it's illegal to hold a cell phone to your ear and drive, it is not illegal to text massage - now there's a real distraction, and a few people have died already while text messaging while driving.

Somebody tell me what the big deal is about Van Cafe and Frank loosing their servers ? .......... I pay Fatcow 99 dollars a year to host a website with lots of capabilities , like no big deal. So what exactly is 'the problem' ? In plain English too please, should anyone care to comment. thanx, rantlessly.
