So the answer to saving the web site is to back it up RIGHT NOW. Go to http://www.smartftp.com/ and get the free FTP program, enter the logon info for your AOL site, if you don't have the info, AOL should provide it, and then copy the whole site in one shot. Once you've got all your hard work back in your pc then you can worry about where to go next.

I say this without any knowledge what so ever about how AOL works. Never used em', never will use em'.

For inexpensive web space try Go Daddy, or 1and1.com. I use the latter. A personal site with tons of space is $4.99 a month. A commercial site is a $120 a year. You get everything you need to set up shop without a shopping cart. That's extra. They have web site builders so you don't need to know any code to build a nice site. They are the largest space provider in Europe and now nearly the largest in America with some 30,000 servers in Kansas. I've used them for several years and have multiple web sites with them without a single problem, EVER!

Regards, Rick Nathan Tradewind.org and many more.
