Scotty, we gotta beam you up. I have long been known for rattling my veritable cane on the gummint fence, often, loudly, and long. That pretty much entitles me on the right hand to be considered a 'cane rattler', however there is a more sinister (gotta love that punishment) side to the moniker. Long ago a particular flag had a rattlesnake and the warning "Don't tread on me" Likely the snake was an Eastern Diamondback, crotalus horridus, also known as a "Cane Rattler"...Rumoured I fit both attributions.

Cane Rattler ... (who thanks each and every one of you for your contributions to Medicare and Social Security, as involuntary as they may be, and who contiinues to question authority from his sunny rock beside the little used information byway)

FWIW if you stay lucky you'll be as old and abused as me, BZ, Unca Joel and the wizard of all thingies electrical the venrable David Bierl some day. Keep on keepin on.
