I am very grateful for this Vanagon community. I very much enjoy meeting the people that I talk to about vanagon over the net. I was looking so forward to meeting Boston Bob in person…after having several online conversations about Vanagons and other interests…but I guess that is not to be. Life takes me away from the Vanagon community on occasion, but it always feels comforting coming back. With the help of many from this community, I have learned a lot about the Vanagon. When I can, I try to share my experiences to help others as I have been helped. I am very grateful for having had the opportunity to learn from Boston Bob. He greatly enriched the community with his matter of fact, no nonsense solid advice…which will live on in the archives. I don’t know what it is about these vehicles, but everything about them just makes me feel good...from driving them, to waving to others who drive them, to talking to people who drive and work on them. Thank you Bob, I will greatly miss your presence from the Vanagon community. And thanks to all those who continue to contribute and enrich this community...and consequently my life.
