Damn, I am somewhat shocked to hear this, but not totally surprised. Earlier this month at Buses By The Trax, one of the attendees mentioned he had ordered an engine from Bob, and it was taking much longer than promised. When He contacted Bob, Bob explained to him that he had been sick. The VW world has lost one of the truly great ones.
