Oh what fun.
here's my list of 'sellers and investments' -
83.5 Westy with 2.1 engine...........super well sorted out and roadworthy.
Just haven't found time to put it on thsamba. I think it'll just hold a
medium value.
85 Adventurewagon, no rust, no dings. California van. I think people don't
realize how good the AW top and aerodynamics are. 'holding value' I think.
It's gonna make a fine Land Yacht when I'm done with it. And I'm going to
'fix' that 'difficult' AW interior layout.
83 Sunroof diesel vanagon. No rust either, minor dents. I have some good
hope for this one.
82 Sunroof diesel Vanagon . Near showroom condition, original engine block
with fresh rings and rod bearings, freshly done head. Barely one or two
tiny dings in this van, and I have the original window sticker, and
salesman's business card that sold it in Portland OR. I regard this
Sunroof DV as collectable.
87 Wolfsburg. ....the deluxe model with all the goodies.........fiberglass
bumpers, aero mirrors, rear Z bed seat , table that folds out of the wall,
jump seats, PS, AC ......Silver. No rust.
that's my list of my most useful or noteworthy vanagons.
the last Seller is a no rust, just one dent, perfect interior, 84. Make a
super fine donor for someone wanting to swap their stuff over to a rust free
body. Just chop out the top some to put your westy roof on it.
my personal vanagon is a Wolfsburg 85 Weekender.
( oh btw............I and a client are looking for a Porsche 914-6 if anyone
knows of one. Not a 40,000 dollar one either . I also know of a 75
Porsche 914 that's a project car I'm going to talk to the guy about some
more, if anyone in interested in that mid-engine fine little car. They're
going up in value too. Got lots going for them. After being with the 914-6
for a year long project, I even think they are good looking now ! )
all located in Medford/Ashland, Southern Oregon, USA.
