I feel lucky to have known Bob for the past 5 years, like Daryl pointed out, I never heard Bob utter a single word of complaint about anything. Like an able mariner he was steadfast and calm in seas that would have tortured and unraveled most. Even last week we were still planning the next video tutorial from his hospital bed with alarms going off... "yeah... my thingy... it's going off" he quipped into the nurse call box when she came on.

Saintly in his selfless outlook, and always kind, he often sat chatting about the ups and downs of being a small business in the same community, and was always an understanding ear. He taught me much. He always knew just the right thing to say to snap something into perspective with a few well chosen and usually smile inducing words. I'm not ready to see him go, but I'm confident he and the universe know better. It's really hard to have to say goodbye, so I won't, I'll end it with what he always said instead of goodbye: "appreciate 'cha"
