Bob, I found you to be the most informed, least presumptive human being who ever earned the title of champion waterboxer guru. You were a joy to deal with. I thoroughly enjoyed the times I talked to you and the several transactions we engaged in. I particularly remember the day I was traveling on a boring trip down I-65, and you called to answer a question and we ended up staying on for more than an hour, comparing our personal lives and personal love of the vanagon. When I sent a rebuild question to you via the list in August, a listmember close to you told me not to expect an answer anytime soon, but not to say anything online. I didn't know it would mean forever, though I suspected as much. We are all richer for your benevolence and knowledge, and poorer for your passing.

But don't worry Bob, you left us plenty.

Thanks,

Jim
